Studio Bisson is an innovative interior design studio that brings creativity, sustainability, and functionality together in every project. We specialize in creating bespoke interiors that tell a unique story, combining luxurious aesthetics with practical design solutions. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented intern to join our team and assist with a variety of tasks to support our growing business.
Internship Role Overview:
As an Interior Design Intern, you will work directly with the principal designer and the studio team to assist in three core areas: Project Follow-Up, Communication & Content Creation, and Prospection. This internship will provide you with valuable experience in design project management, digital marketing, and supplier outreach.
Responsibilities:
1. Interior Design Project Follow-Up:
- Team Collaboration: Attend internal project meetings to stay updated on progress and provide input or updates as needed.
- Site visit: Attend weekly site visit to see project evolution.
- Project Management Support: Assist in tracking and monitoring the progress of ongoing design projects, ensuring that deadlines are met.
- Vendor Coordination: Communicate with suppliers, contractors, and clients to confirm delivery schedules and project milestones.
- Documentation: Organize and maintain project files, including contracts, invoices, and design-related materials.
- Client Interaction: Assist with preparing reports and status updates for clients, ensuring smooth communication and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
2. Communication & Content Creation:
- Website/Blog Management:
- Content Writing: Write and publish two articles per month on selected themes.
- SEO Optimization: Ensure all articles and content are optimized for search engines by researching relevant keywords and integrating them effectively.
- Social Media Management:
- Content Planning: Create and manage monthly content calendar for social media posts, ensuring consistent messaging across platforms (Instagram / Facebook / LinkedIn). 3 posts per week and 4 stories daily.
- Engagement: Engage with relevant accounts by commenting on at least 10 posts per day from Instagram accounts with over 10K followers. Engage with followers and respond to comments/messages to help build an interactive online presence.
- Newsletter Management:
- Monthly Newsletter: Help design and send out one newsletter per month, including updates on studio projects, blog posts, and other relevant content to our subscribers.
3. Prospection (Supplier & Artist Outreach):
- Research & Database Building:
- Conduct research to identify local suppliers, artists, and artisans who align with Studio Bisson's aesthetic and values.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive database of potential contacts for future collaborations, sourcing, and partnerships.
- Outreach:
- Assist with initial outreach to local suppliers, artists, and artisans, initiating communication to build relationships for potential future projects.
- Help manage the communication and follow-up process, ensuring that all leads are documented and tracked.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Interior Design, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp)
- Knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
- Pack Office
- Basic understanding of SEO best practices.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. English is a must, Portuguese is a plus.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and take initiative in managing tasks without constant supervision.
- Social Media Savvy: Understanding of how to create engaging social media posts that resonate with target audiences.
